Форма обеспечения (security), особенно неличностная форма обеспечения, такая, как полисы страхования жизни или акции, предоставляемые в обеспечение банковской ссуды. В некотором смысле такие неличностные обеспечения относятся к разряду вторичного обеспечения кредита, в отличие от первичного обеспечения, например гарантии.

1.Материальные ценности и ценные бумаги, служащие для кредитора залогом полного и своевременного возврата полученных заемщиком ссуд, а также причитающихся процентов. Обеспечение кредита может включать залог, поручительство, гарантию (гарантийное письмо поручителя), страхование ответственности. 2. Актив, который по закону должен получить кредитор для реализации и возмещения тех денег, которые заемщик остается должен после признания его неплатежеспособным (см. Банкрот, Банкротство).
